How many throws does it take to get to the center of a light bulb? One.
Suffolk County police said a man made his way into Rite Aid at 391 West Main St. in Huntington last week and picked up a lollipop from a display in the store. Instead of making his way to the cash register, the man threw the lollipop towards the ceiling, where a florescent light bulb awaited. The light bulb shattered and the man left the store and jumped into a gray vehicle, heading towards Nathan Hale Drive.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
