A collision with a tree on Cuba Hill Road near Elbormar Drive early Wednesday morning sent two teenagers to Huntington Hospital with injuries suffered from the crash, fire officials said.

Victims were transported by the Greenlawn Rescue Squad while the fire department responded to the accident with 20 fire and EMS volunteers.

Those firefighters that responded applied an absorbent to the road that soaked up fuel spilled as a result of the crash.

Under the control of assistant chiefs, Kurt Allen and Mike Zeis, two ambulances and a rescue truck manned the Huntington scene which involved a black Honda Accord.
