Obituary listings for the Town of Huntington.

Daniel McBride

Daniel P. McBride, a resident of Northport, died June 8. He was 51.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Dunn).

Along with his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Tim, Brian and Eileen Skelly. He was predeceased by his siblings, the late Mary Beth and the late Kevin.

Arrangements are being made by Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home in Northport. Visitation will be today, Thursday, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. and from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Philip Neri Church in Northport. An interment will follow at the Northport Rural Cemetery.

Pauline Smith

Pauline Pearson Smith, a resident of Centerport, died June 7.

She was the cherished wife of the late Donal Tuthill Smith and an avid artist, passionate gardener and animal lover.

She is survived by her children, Audrey and her husband Paul Fields, Gordon and his wife Sharon, Stuart and his wife April and Craig; her grandchildren, Brendon, Casey, Tyler, Stuart Jr., Dillon, Jose, and Daniel; and her cat, Harry.

Arrangements were made by Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home in Northport on Wednesday. A graveside service will be held today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at the Northport Rural Cemetery with Rev. Mark Bigelow officiating.

Memorial contributions in her name can be made to The Little Shelter Animal Rescue, 33 Warner Road, Huntington, N.Y. 11743.

Blanche Ketchum

Blanche E. Ketchum, a native of Huntington, died June 5. She was 81.

Born in Huntington, she was the daughter of the late Orion Linden Ketchum and the late Elizabeth Fischer Ketchum.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy; her niece Jean Jefferies and her husband Edward; her grandnephew and grandniece, Scott and Tay; and her great-grandnieces, Lily and Leah. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Orion Curtis Ketchum.

Arrangements were made by Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home in Northport on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. An interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery, Laurel Hollow.

Catherine Fuchs

Catherine Fuchs, a resident of Huntington Station, died June 9. She was 62.

She was the beloved wife of Bobby.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Jennifer and her husband Daniel Rios and John and his wife Janice; her siblings, Sharon Anzalone and Robert. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Peter Voight.

Arrangements will be made by M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station on Friday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Melville on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. An interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of St. John’s in Cold Spring Harbor.

Michael Searson

Michael T. Searson, a resident of Halesite, died June 5. He was 49.

He was a former resident of Levittown, a dedicated nurse, friend of many and loved by all, his family said.

He was the son of the late John and Eileen.

He is survived by his siblings, John and his wife Mary, Patricia and her husband Richard Termine, Robert and his wife Susan, Marie and her husband Louis Ballarin, Elaine, Christopher and his wife Elizabeth and Kathleen and her husband Ronald Stitt; his nieces and nephews, Eileen, Joseph, Robert, Jacqueline, Katherine, Colleen, James and Erin.

Arrangements were made by M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station on Sunday and Monday. A funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick’s Church in Huntington on Tuesday. An interment followed at the Holy Rood in Westbury.
