St. Anthony’s Advances To State Semifinals

The defending state champion Friars of the St. Anthony’s girls basketball team are heading to the CHSAA Class AA semifinals.

With a 54-48 quarterfinal triumph over Mary Louis Academy Tuesday night at St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows, St. Anthony’s (19-6) now preps for a Friday matchup at Christ the King in Queens with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

The 2014-2015 St. Anthony’s girls basketball team was 13-1 in conference play this season and advances to the CHSAA Class AA state semifinal on Friday.
